Abstract

Yu.A. Izrael Institute of Global Climate and Ecology hosted the Fourth All-Russian Scientific conference "Monitoring of environment state and pollution: adaptation to climate change". The conference is dedicated to monitoring climate change and dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena, climate change impacts, as well as а wide range of issues related to adaptation to climate change, including synergy with mitigation of anthropogenic impact оп the climate system. The event was held as а platform for knowledge and experience exchange in the field of climate research, climate services and practical application of the obtained results in various social and economic sectors, as well as in healthcare and nature conser­vation. Experts from leading scientific institutes of Russian Hydrometeorological Service, Russian Academy of Sciences, universities and other organizations took part in the discussion. Not only new results and scientific achievements were highlighted, but also proЫems, ways to solve them, and tasks for further research were proposed.
